New government plan to boost social care staffing

Two initiatives to boost staffing in the adult social care sector were launched earlier this week.

The first is the ‘Call to Care’, a new short-term drive to support staffing within the care sector this winter by asking volunteers, including those on furlough, to take up a temporary role.

Visit the campaign resource centre to download free-to-use recruitment materials to help attract high-quality candidates.

The second is the next phase of the national recruitment campaign ‘Care for Others. Make a Difference’ which aims to highlight the varied, flexible and rewarding long-term careers available in the adult social care sector.

The need for a strong, well-resourced social care workforce has never been greater. It is essential that we work together to build a sustainable workforce now and for the future.  Click on link below to register your interest .Expanding staff Capacity in Adult Social Care)
