The BLMK KeepingWell Hub

The BLMK KeepingWell Hub is here to provide wellbeing and psychological support to key workers including NHS staff, staff providing care to others in the community and in residential homes and voluntary sector organisations in the Bedfordshire, Luton and Milton Keynes (BLMK) area. Active Bystander Training

12 x 90 min Active Bystander Training workshops have been commissioned, facilitated by the ‘Active Bystander Training Company’.

The sessions aim to help Primary Care Colleagues across the region to challenge poor behaviours which may have become normalised over time. The session includes self-coaching techniques to help you keep a cool head when you’re faced with a challenging situation.

Wellbeing App - ShinyMindThe app has been designed to:

  • Available to all BLMK Primary Care Workforce for free.
  • Designed by the NHS for the NHS to proactively provide daily wellbeing and resilience support.
  • Practical, evidence-based resources, including 11 Masterclasses on a range of topics including self-reflection,  self-compassion, mindset and meditation.

Compassionate conversations

This programme was co-designed with numerous NHS organisations to support line managers, peers and those with caring responsibilities understand what a wellbeing conversation is, when it may be appropriate to initiate one and provide them with additional knowledge and skills to have safe and compassionate conversations.
