In collaboration with the Chief Nurse for Adult Social Care, we’re delighted to be hosting this event to celebrate nursing in social care, which is part of our wider International Nurses Day celebrations.

If you’re a nurse or a nursing associate in the Eastern region, it’s a fantastic opportunity to connect with other nurses in your region, share good practice and contribute to professional discussion and debate, as well as taking the time to recognise the contribution you make. You could also use this time to reflect for revalidation purposes or to hear ideas and innovation to take back to your own working environments.

The event will be attended by Deborah Sturdy, the Chief Nurse for Adult Social Care. Deborah is keen to hear from nurses and nursing associates, and to understand and share the current initiatives that are important to the nursing workforce.

We’ll also be recognising and celebrating key nursing leaders with an awards ceremony.

Refreshments and a networking lunch is included.

Who should attend?

Registered nurses and nursing associates working in a social model of care setting.

This may include student nurses and nursing associates where they are hosted in a social care environment, in an apprenticeship for example.

Delegates should be working in the Eastern region.
For events in other regions please refer to our International Nurses Day page.
