AHP Support Workers play a vital role in service user care, service delivery and staff engagement. This workstream focusses on developing the AHP Support Workforce further with particular emphasis on the following areas:

  • Development of varied B5 Support Worker roles

  • Career progression

  • Defining competencies and clinical boundaries

  • Legacy Mentor roles for Support Workers

  • Retention of Support Workers

The workstream will collaborate with relevant stakeholders across BLMK to ensure optimal perspective, productivity, expertise and resources are shared.
