Join the BLMK CCG Medicines Management in Care Homes Team for a spotlight on: ‘When Required (PRN) Medication’, facilitated by Sharon Tansley (Care Home Specialist Pharmacy
Technician) and Courtenay Pearson (Care Home Pharmacist for Central Bedfordshire). The session will cover all aspects of PRN medication, including:

• BLMK CCG’s PRN Guidance
• How to write ‘gold standard’ PRN protocols
• Reducing PRN medication waste

This training will be followed by a Medicines Management in Adult Social Care ‘Question and Answer’ session where Sharon and Courtenay will be available to answer your medicinesrelated
questions. (Please be aware that in the interests of patient confidentiality, patient identifiable data (PID) is prohibited. Additionally, clinical questions relating to specific patient’s treatment should be directed to the patient’s GP practice).
