Category: General

The Chiltern Learning Trust is collaborating with Reach Society to design and roll out an inspirational event which targets young people, aged 10 plus, in Luton and Bedfordshire. The event will take place on Tuesday, 31 May 2022, and shall be known as the Luton Employability Day.

Venue: The Chiltern Academy, Gypsy Lane, Luton

Duration: 10.30 – 3pm

.
Their planning team is reaching out to several local stakeholders (employers, academia and third sector groups) in the target areas to invite their participation and contribution to building awareness of this event.

.

For your information, the event is designed to allow employers from the private, public and voluntary sectors to showcase their range of opportunities for talented young people; and create multiple interactions between Black professionals and the young people, and their parents. In so doing the event will help the young participants to identify pathways to success, and gain a deeper understanding of the value of continuing to develop their potential and skillsets.

.
We would very much like local stakeholders to take part as exhibitors, or nominate volunteer role models, or in spreading word of the event to young people, target age range, 10 to 19.
All volunteer role models shall be briefed about their role before the event, and become part of the cohort of local professionals involved in the event. And each firm or institutions willing to exhibit, or showcase their opportunities at this event shall be allocated, free of cost, an exhibition stand.
