The launch of the co-produced BLMK wide Care Home Staff Training offer linked to the Enhanced Health in Care Homes (EHiCH) Framework
The Bedfordshire, Luton and Milton Keynes (BLMK) Health and Care Partnership are pleased to launch the co-produced BLMK wide Care Home Staff Training offer linked to the Enhanced Health in Care Homes (EHiCH) Framework.
This training brochure has been designed to support care home staff across our system to have access to local awareness and champion training programmes in a number of identified key areas to ensure that best practice personalised care can be delivered to those residents that live within care home settings, in line with the requirements set out in the NHS England Enhanced Health in Care Homes Framework (providing proactive care for people living in care homes).
It will ensure sustainability of the EHiCH framework training offers across the BLMK system as well as providing care staff with transferable training whilst working in care homes across Bedford Borough, Central Bedfordshire, Luton and Milton Keynes.
The Care Home Staff Enhanced Health in Care Homes training brochure has been co-produced with multiple stakeholders across the BLMK system who have come together to design and develop the training programmes and commit to deliver these throughout the year.
The training brochure will be refreshed and updated quarterly for 2024/25 so all additional training programmes that are not available at this time and marked as “coming soon” can be added. Once all training modules have been confirmed the brochure will be updated annually.
Having a training brochure linked to the delivery of the EHiCH Framework that is readily available will allow care home staff and managers to plan training sessions and personal /career development opportunities throughout the year.
