Aims and Objectives

This qualification aims to develop your knowledge and understanding of mental health and the problems that can cause mental ill health. Within each unit you will focus on one particular aspect of mental health exploring the meaning, causes, effects, symptoms and management of each. The course looks in detail at the impact mental health has on a person’s family and friends, giving you a good idea of what it feels like to experience mental ill-health.
