More in-depth learning for registered and unregistered front line staff in all health and social care environments (residential, domiciliary, nursing and community), including where relevant primary care.
Qualification achieved is Level 2 Health and Social care, Level 3 Advanced Dementia and Level 2 Introduction to Training
All is completed by attending two consecutive days per month for four months. It will also ensure learners are kept up to date with new learning developments. e.g. dementia framework.
Champions will then have particular responsibility for delivering high quality, person centered support to people living with Dementia within the Care environment and act as a source of information, advice and coaching to their colleagues
