Aims and Objectives

To develop the knowledge and skills needed when providing positive care for people with dementia and their families. It provides a more in-depth awareness of the process and experience of dementia and this training develops the skills required in the workplace when working unsupervised.

This qualification builds on the knowledge and skills covered in the Level 2 Award in Dementia Care. and is aligned to the National Dementia Strategy.
