This half day course aims to enable participants to have an awareness of the Mental Capacity Act 2005 and be able to apply it to their everyday practice. Including the skills needed to assess capacity using the four point assessment, best interests and practice issues.

Registration is required to access this course and once registration is approved fully funded courses are available to:
Central Bedfordshire Council adult social care staff
Staff of all care and support providers in Central Bedfordshire
Also contracted care providers outside of Central Bedfordshire
Late cancellation and non-attendance fees apply to external providers
