Aims and Objectives

The aim of the learning path is to provide care workers with a greater understanding and confidence when caring for individuals near the end of life.    It has core and additional recommended e-learning sessions designed to help care workers who care for people in the last days of life, and to offer support for their families.  It includes:

  • Introduction to Skills for Care learning path for care workers supporting a person near the end of life
  • Guide to making the most of eELCA

  • Understanding and using empathy
  • End of Life Dementia Care
  • End-of-life care in care homes and domiciliary care settings
