Structured to benefit those who provide care for people living with Parkinson’s disease whether in a nursing, residential or their own home.
This course explains the causes and symptoms of the disease and how it is diagnosed and treated. You will learn about the effects Parkinson’s has on everyday life and relationships, the different stages of the disease and the issues faced in advanced Parkinson’s. It details how to deal with worsening symptoms.

Registration is required to access this course and once registration is approved fully funded courses are available to:
Central Bedfordshire Council adult social care staff
Staff of all care and support providers in Central Bedfordshire
Also contracted care providers outside of Central Bedfordshire
Late cancellation and non-attendance fees apply to external providers.
