POhWER is a charity and membership organisation who information, advice, support and advocacy to people who experience disability, vulnerability, distress and social exclusion.

POhWER has been delivering advocacy in Luton since 2003.  As well as providing a range of advocacy services they also have a Community Development Worker who facilitates group work for service users and drop in sessions within the community and support services. The work carried out within the groups is then fed back to the local authority and forms a part in their strategic plans for the town.
