Beth Thompson is the new Knowledge Specialist supporting all Primary Care staff across the BLMK ICS with training, evidence searching and knowledge sharing to ensure an evidence-based approach to service development and patient care.

About the role
The Knowledge Specialist role is funded by Health Education England and is a pilot scheme to embed library and knowledge specialists within primary care, and ensure all staff have access to the evidence, resources they need to support patient care, service development, and research. The pilot scheme runs until March 2024.
