BLMK Primary Care Training Hub Bulletin
The BLMK Primary Care Training Hub team produces a bulletin once a week to highlight our current offers for primary care staff. The bulletin is published as part of the wider Primary Care Bulletin on Clarity Teamnet but if you would like to download the training hub bulletin separately, it can be accessed here
Access to Work is help you can get from the Department for Work and Pensions. This could include money known as a grant. You would not have to pay the money back. The below links will take you to websites where you can gain more information on this, including who is eligible and how to apply as well as a fact sheets for employers.
We wanted to make practices aware of some useful resources to support pre-employment checks of registered healthcare professionals. Registration checks should be undertaken for all registered professionals and we have included the links to the main registers below. Practices are also able to sign up to the Performers List Web Check Service which will allow you to search the register of any Health Professional Alert Notices (HPAN’s) that may have been logged for an individual.

Centre for Advancing Practice
The Centre for Advancing Practice will be creating registers for those clinicians recognised as Advanced Practitioners or First Contact Practitioners in the near future.
